The Met: Here for London

The Met commission Jonathan Allardyce to illustrate the many police officers and staff likely to be seen in the city of London.

Jonathan's warm approach when creating the artwork has meant the uniformed officers are conveyed as approachable and helpful. Ranging from Traffic Officers to Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Officers, the figurative illustrations are clean and clear. Jonathan says "The Metropolitan Police provides a world class service for London. On the streets and in the community they're committed to making the city safe and secure, a role that hasn't changed in more than 180 years. Serving London 24/7, they use their specialist skills and knowledge to challenge threatening behaviour and bring criminals to justice. The Met asked me to illustrate 23 of the police officers and staff you're most likely to see out and about in the city."
