'Be Kind' Teaching Guide

Commissioned by Scholastic USA, Helen Lang makes a poster for an inspiring teaching guide.

The guide was created to encourage students to be kind members of their classroom and community. Created in black and white the colouring-in poster requires students to consider how they can be kind to friends, family and beyond. Helen adds, "Teachers are able to download these posters, pass them out to students and watch their children customise them with ease and build essential writing skills in the process. When the posters are complete, teachers can hang them on the classroom wall to promote a learning environment that values empathy. The poster is sold as thirty 17 x 22-inch posters and comes with a complete teaching guide and a coloured and completed example of the poster."
