Galdo’s Gift animated book character

A Tapocketa Feature

Inventive animators Tapocketa are featured in a five-page article in Computer Arts.

The article in the March issue showcases Tapocketa's work on Galdo's Gift  - a 'boovie' (book and movie hybrid), demonstrating the style, skills and talent of the team.  Taking inspiration from a short poem, the story is about a frog called King Galdo, who sends four robust little heroes out to the far corners of Galdovia to bring back a very special gift for the reader, only, he’s not quite ready for what they return with. Tapocketa say in the article, " We were intrigued by the idea of a book that comes alive and talks directly to the reader, and keen to play with the possibilities of the digital storybook format. We knew it would work well with our playful style of animation." To read more on Galdo's Gift and their fascinating work, get your copy of Computer Arts here.
